Welcome to
Stardust Cattle Company
Stardust Cattle Company, located in rural Iowa, is the formal name for our
purebred cattle endeavors
and the culmination of our dreams and ambitions. We raise Golden Retrievers,
Purebred Suffolk Sheep, Registered Angus, and Australian Lowline Cattle for
performance and competition on our 80 acres. We are near what is known as the
“Top of Iowa,” a short drive from Minneapolis, Minnesota or Des Moines, Iowa.
Our Full blood Australian Lowlines are the most intriguing inhabitants of our
farm. They spend the majority of their time grazing in the groves or harassing
our Angus cows.
As dedicated
breeders, we often have carefully orchestrated genetics available. We are proud
to offer quality embryos, registered seed stock, show candidates, pregnant
recipients, and gourmet beef. Inquiries are always welcome about and we would
love to visit with you about our program or show you our genetics.
Our efforts exist
with the purpose of improving on our foundation source of Australian Lowlines
and Registered Angus Cattle. We purchased our first Lowline donor in 2006 and
have added four more exceptional donors since. We have been selectively
implementing both Australian and American lines, hand picked for their genetics
and phenotype so that we may accomplish and exceed our competitive goals. A
strict preventative health program and genetic testing protocol, along with
their all natural diet and abundance of green grass and sunshine, ensure our
cattle are some of the happiest, healthiest, tastiest, and reproductively sound
you will find. We are striving to become more competitive as breeders and
exhibitors with our Lowlines and Angus, and become actively involved with shows
and breed associations on the local, state, and national level.
Although relatively
new to the Lowline world, we have been long time Angus breeders and exhibitors.
Campaigning multiple champions on every level and building a foundation herd
from elite genetics with both style and function. We have implemented an
intensive embryo transplant program to achieve our long-term goals faster and
more efficiently. We would love to visit with you and share with you why we have
chose the breeds we have and what they can offer your program.
